Role Overview

As Project Coordinator, you'll be working closely with our Project Managers to assist in the successful delivery of major projects.  You'll manage the preparation and compilation of key project documents, and will ensure all the project teams movements, calendars, meetings and necessary scheduling are carried out smoothly and efficiently.  In this role, you'll interact with key stakeholders for each project, liaising on project details and attending meetings where required.

You'll be a good communicator with a keen eye for detail and be able to stay organized while meeting demanding timescales.  You should also have a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders at once, sometimes with conflicting priorities, and be able to prioritise and work in the most effective way.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Identifying, tracking and managing project risks, issues, assumptions and inter-dependencies.
  • Maintain and monitor the baseline programme plan, ensuring start/end dates and dependencies of work packages are clearly defined.
  • Work with project leaders on a regular basis to monitor key milestones and target dates, to identify and forecast slippages and to ensure accurate planning updates are provided as required
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Capture risks and opportunities
  • Support project procurement management
  • Monitor project progress and raise any issues that arise
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Hands-on experience with project management software tools (e.g. Basecamp, OpenAir or Trello)
  • BSc in Business Administration or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus
  • Agile knowledge or agile product development
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
